Service Description

Neurofeedback is a technique that allows us to “retrain” the brain for better mental health and optimal performance across a wide variety of circumstances. I utilize two specific types of Neurofeedback: LENS® and NeurOptimal®. I consider these two great choices for Neurofeedback, as they are both effective, easy to utilize, and fully non-invasive. Some Neurofeedback features/benefits include: 100% non-invasive. It’s easy. Medication/pharmaceutical free. Can help to provide clarity with areas of life where you feel stuck. Optimize mental performance and stress relief. Improve ability to manage emotions. Improve mental flexibility and resilience. In my professional experience, Neurofeedback represents a line in the sand. When other forms of therapy have not brought the results you had hoped for, Neurofeedback often provides a breakthrough. What is Neurofeedback Used For? Some of the many conditions that neurofeedback can help with are: Anxiety Insomnia Stress reduction Addiction Depression PTSD/Trauma ADHD Grief Migraines Concussions My Neurofeedback Services: First, we’ll go over your options, and choose which of the two methodologies I offer is best for you. I will also be with you every step of the way. There is nothing arcane, scary, or painful. I promise you’ll look forward to our sessions! All of the assessments and treatments are done by me, and me alone. My training as a licensed psychotherapist gives me a unique insight into the entire neurofeedback process and allows you to get the most out of our sessions. And on that note, I can also help you no matter where you are. I now offer in-home Neurofeedback. Here are brief descriptions of the two types of Neurofeedback I offer: LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback) LENS was developed by Len Ochs in the 1980’s, and, in simple terms, involves measuring brain activity and “reporting” it back to itself. It’s almost like holding up a mirror to the brain, which allows it to “see” the instances that reduce your quality of life, and work to eliminate them. What makes LENS unique is there is no set standard – each person’s EEG signals are unique to them, and also constantly changing. LENS measures these signals, and matches the feedback to the client’s own physiological (neurological) fingerprint. Like I mentioned, reporting back to itself. LENS is safe and effective for everyone. If you would like to learn more about LENS, please call or email for more information!
