About

Relief is just possible, with an integrative approach that supports both mind and body.

Woman thinking with map to represent her path to therapy

You don’t need to try harder to change.

Meditate more. Exercise more. Or, keep going through trial & error of different medication or therapeutic techniques.

Under the pressure of:

  • Too much stress.

  • Not feeling your best.

  • Floundering through different therapies or treatments.

  • Enduring feelings that seem too big to handle for too long.

  • Goals that you want or need for yourself or your loved ones seem unreachable.

  • Struggling with maintaining sobriety.

  • Things from your past that are resurfacing.

  • In an unstable relationship.

  • Recovering from a brain injury.

  • Dealing with brain fog.

Life may have gotten too overwhelming and confusing to handle alone and you are not sure what to do next.

The truth is that healing is often about helping the brain to reorganize neural patterns that are holding you back from successful outcomes in therapy. Neurofeedback can be a valuable tool in facilitating this process and supporting your path towards overall well-being.

therapy grounded in science, guided by heart

With over 30 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist, I have been dedicated to helping individuals and families of all ages achieve clarity and emotional well-being. Since 2003, I have maintained a practice in the Towson, Maryland area, following my prior work in New York City where I focused on supporting teens and families with mental health and addiction issues.

My background includes:

Undergraduate degree in Family Studies - the University of Maryland (1992)

Masters degree in Clinical Social Work - Columbia University (1994)

Addictions Counseling - Rutgers University School of Alcoholism Studies

EMDR therapy training - EMDR Institute, Inc.(2011)

LENS neurofeedback training - Ochs Labs (2016)

Safe and Sound Protocol training - Unyte Health (2022)

Brainspotting training - Brainspotting Training, Inc. (2024)

I take pleasure in uncovering the root causes of present-day challenges by examining the layers from the past that have led to this moment. Factors such as birth trauma, head injuries, ear infections, and emotional trauma experienced during youth can affect your body and emotions in ways that may still impact you today. It may not be apparent to you, but in our journey together, it makes a significant difference in your results. These past experiences can significantly impact a person's present-day struggles, and by working together to identify and address them, we can create lasting change and help you achieve your goals.

Therapy isn’t just about fixing what’s wrong - it’s about creating space to feel seen, understood and supported in meaningful ways.

I meet each person with curiosity, care and clinical insight, using an integrative approach that honors your story, your nervous system, and your goals.

Some sessions might involve deep processing through EMDR or Brainspotting. Others may focus on gentle nervous system regulation through neurofeedback or Safe and Sound Protocol. Together, we’ll decide what support fits best - and adjust as your needs evolve.

This work is collaborative, adaptive, and grounded in a belief that change is possible - even if it hasn’t happened yet.

I’m here to walk beside you with curiosity, respect, and tools that go deeper than words.
